I’m always stoked when new opportunities arise that take me back to where I fell in love with Electronic music – Madison. This Friday I’ll be working the decks at the newly renovated Union South – The Sett. I’ve heard good things about the sound system and the space. I have lots of new music and some new styles I’ve been working on as of late, and I’m looking forward to seeing some new faces for sure.

Ladies & Gentlemen
After 5 long years, this Friday will be the last WiscoJazz Fridays @ The Highbury. This night, which is the longest running weekly DJ night in Milwaukee’s history, has had its ups and downs and memories that will last a lifetime. Although I am relatively young compared to most of the DJs I know, hosting this night has left me feeling a lot older.
There are two main reasons why I am retiring this legendary night: 1) I am entering a new stage of my life with the birth of my son & 2) I’ve accomplished everything I wanted to do with the night. When I first started 5 years ago, I wanted a weekly spot to feature local and regional DJs and turn some people onto electronic music. Over the years we have more than surpassed these goals with nearly 150 different DJs making appearances from all over the globe and a dedicated local fan base.
This Friday will be featuring a set of “All Stars” that have helped make WiscoJazz Fridays what it is over the years. I’ll have a photo and video montage of pictures over the years displaying on the TVs @ The Highbury as well. WiscoJazz Fridays. Always Free. Always Fun
.
You’ll still be able to catch me playing out once in a while and even making appearances back @ The Highbury I’m sure. Keep checking back to WiscoJazz.com for the latest news and audio uploads. There will be a new podcast dropping there soon which is what I will be dedicating a lot of my time towards.
Thanks for your support over the last 5 years!

This Friday the WiscoJazz Fridays train keeps on chugging. Only 3 shows left!!!! This Friday features The Vinyl Department crew.
The Vinyl Department originated as a Wisconsin based duo and evolved into a collective. It now has the goal of growing into a community. A love of electronic music and the surrounding culture act as the basis for that community, and the desire to more deeply explore and share the experiences they provide will hopefully supply the food for growth. Come check out the crew’s core members: Neyno, TJK, and JBase as they drop the deepest and dopest of dance music with nothing but smiles and party grooves to assist. WiscoJazz Fridays. ALWAYS FREE. ALWAYS FUN. Only 3 more WiscoJazz Fridays shows left!
See you Friday!

Don’t know how I missed posting this one. This was a set I recorded back in August for a dear friend that was moving away and starting a new life. It also was made once I started to get my life back together after raising my son into the first few months of his new life. So call it a new beginning, or the soundtrack to something new for you. It features some deep beats initially, then progresses into some newer midtempo/nudisco jams later in the mix. Enjoy!

Big week this week. 3 shows in 2 days. 11.11.11 approaches…
This Thursday I’m stoked to be playing at the Up & Under Pub on Brady st. I’ll be opening and doing setbreaks for this “dirty funk” band called “Mustache” out of Madison. Although I haven’t heard them live yet, I’m good friends with one of the musicians and I’m excited to hear this band. I start at around 9, and the band starts at 10. There isn’t a cover, so stop out and check out something new this Thursday night!
Friday is a big day. 11.11.11. I’m playing with a bunch of other folks at this global event entitled “We Are One”. There’ll be good music, cool people, and a lot of other stuff to help you get in touch with yourself and others. Check the flier for more info. My set is early on, from 5:45 – 6:15. I’ll be playing some downbeats and dub similar to my Sounds of Dao series.
Friday night I’ve really been looking forward to. It’s 11.11.11, and with only 4 shows left this show hits home. I’ll be doing an extended set with my musical mentor Edd Reynolds. Expect lots of house, disco, and other rarities. It’ll be my LAST extended set at WiscoJazz Fridays. Hope to see some of you out. WiscoJazz Fridays. ALWAYS FREE. ALWAYS FUN.

Big thanks to everyone that turned out for what was, in my honest opinion, the Party of the Year! Wow, just, wow. Thanks to all the contestants that dressed up as well. It was probably the best turnout we’ve had for one of our themed parties to this date. The competition was fierce, but Lando, the Jawa, and the Rancor Keeper won.
The music was so integral to the party that I made sure to record it and share it with all of you. Here you go, music to take you to a galaxy far, far away…with a twist!
